Just a money spender this week. New shocks for the Jeep. Guess I should be happy the ones on it lasted almost nine years.

Dummy me.
Could have saved my $1.98 dividend. Same tent could have been had with hotel points for free.

a pair of seats and wheels from an old Astro i used to own from the guy that has it now. Got the wheels to make a complete set again as i have the other pair on the front of my '84 Chevy. But will be using the full set as winter wheels for my Astro. The seats i got for the C10 for a bucket seat conversion.

New lids for the Knot Heads.

Jeez, Eli wears an adult large at six. I’ve always said that thing between his shoulders could double as a bowling ball. Trying to find a non-MX helmet in a kids medium for Owen was nigh impossible. What I did find, he didn’t want. I think he might have just wanted to be like his big brother.

Bought a new headlight and tail light assembly for my 2011 truck, at over $250.
In Texas, you will usually not pass the annual safety inspection if the lens has any holes in it.
-The tailight assembly change took about 15 minutes. The headlight assembly change took over two hours, though I had watched some installation videos before my attempt.
-I had to loosen or remove fasteners on the grill, front fascia and fender before the headlight assembly could be removed and installed without damage. The headlight is literally part of the body work.

I somehow missed the post about the State of Jefferson before.
Jefferson was to be part of CA and OR?

Yep. the rural counties.

I bought and installed this over the long weekend. One more section to go.
We're on a main road so a little privacy will be nice....not that Volcano has a lot of traffic. ;-)

Seems that the companies making Car Speakers don't know how to actually measure things properly... and places like Crutchfield have no clue as to what actually fits in my car (without modifications)...

This will be my 3rd order of speakers... just trying to get some basic 6 x 9 and 5 1/4 sized speakers... so far I have gotten too small (5 1/4 has been closer to 3.75 and 4 3/8 mounting holes) and too large of a speaker (both 6 x 9 are closer to 6.25 x 9.25)...

Why do I have the feeling that I will have to order some crap from Kicker, Pyle, or Boss to find something that will fit

a freakin Keurig.... swore i never would, but the half a pot a day of coffee that i waste, combined with the purchase price sold me...LOL Good will buy for $10 for a pristine keurig k50, looks like it may have been used 2x MAYBE.... so, along with it, swung past walmart next door and grabbed a reusable filter pod, so i can still enjoy my Chock full o Nuts coffee...

Rounding stuff up for a M/C camping trip next weekend. Found my summer sleeping bag more of a tube than a sleeping bag. Sprung for a nice Kelty bag. Later in the day, I needed to move the DeSoto to gather up some more camping gear. DeSoto got a new battery before it could be moved.
