Agreed, can't wait to get mine on. I almost went with the "gold" colored one... I think it would have been a little over the top on the eyes

Maybe the Chinese bike builders copied the Japanese on using these fasteners? |

It's funny how big a difference it makes using the JIS instead of a standard Phillips head when it's needed. I heard about them a couple of years ago and it definitely made a difference on my Hondas.

nate and alyssia 2 up on 250? Now one might assume it will be ridden back from LA to NY? HUGE!
Along with the other fly and ride sale Joe mentioned, I guess this answeres the question of flying and riding home from the mothership which was posed a couple of months back.

Oh my! I'm not the only person that tasted the warm glass of water when camping.

I have not done '2 up' with my TT250. I'm not sure I ever would, unless in a pinch with another dead bike.
I can't imagine the beginning of their ride. I know how drastically mine increased in rolling ability as it came to life... I would love to know their first 50 miles thoughts -- things like "oh my god, what have we done" or "perhaps we should rent a bmw" type of things... I suppose I shouldn't be that harsh, I enjoyed mine right out of the crate but... two up while doing so? /shudder/ Dave aka Ghan

I took my wife out for a short ride on mine a while after I got the bike, and it was interesting. The motor did okay, but the rear suspension was definitely not up to the task. Mostly, I'm glad I didn't try it before my front brake was taken care of, or I'd have had to slow down some other way!
