This has been an ongoing mega-hassle for me! I cannot, for the life of me, find any 1.25" regular (read cheap) exhaust tubing around Sac anywhere..... Even the internet is elusive.

I think they had used some kind of glue to hold it in place. with 10k on it the glue was more than likely burnt off. Maybe heating it up with a torch might loosen up the glue.

Storing that Jack space wise is the issue with everything , right? It will be the best 70 spent. Will use it constantly

i bought this jack last year, it works great, i got it on sale for around $70 but they wouldnt let me use the 20% coupon, if you look in the "fine print" on the bottom you will see its not valid for "floor jacks" i guess they consider a motorcycle jack as a floor jack but its still worth a try.

still worth it though even if they dont let you use the coupon, i have 3 bikes and soon to be 4 and i use it quite often.

A Rose by any other name.

I gave my bike its first real ride at around 150 miles distance. It worked great. I was able to cruise at 65 no problem and it would do 70. Iam now able to red line the engine in 5th gear when needed. Started out with around 450 miles on the speedo ended up with over 600 on it. That is about 1/3 the total ridding its had in one day. Also installed a new tachometer, volt meter and 12 volt / dual usb charging station. The bike is faster now then it was when I started out on this trip. Seems like my pile o s**it has grown a Rose! So I rename her from pile to Rose. This counterbalanced engine was smooth as silk even at 8000 RPM. I could ride this thing all day with no problem.

You can use a locking ring pin to hold the handle to the lift jack to make it a quick release. When storing, the handle can be removed and the jack can stand on it's side against a wall. I roll mine under a shelf and stand the handle up in a corner of my building.

A locking ring pin like this. I can't remember the size.

Good to know you finally had a good day with your Blaze. You've certainly gone through enough agony, you deserved a good day of riding....ARH

Good copy, I did 188 real miles myself today. You got yours dialed in it sounds like. I can't go over 60 much but it cruises fine at 55 which is good enough for the Texas back roads. butt a little sore

I added tie-down strap rings for when I put her on the trailer when we go on our next camping trip. I also went from a 115 main jet to a 120. I took her out Saturday and was running a little lean. I put just over 225 miles over the weekend.
