Trust me, in North America it is now virtually impossible to find a 15-inch knobby tire which will fit the RX3's rear wheel. My ZS200GY-2 came stock with the same wheel sizes as the RX3. We have been searching for years, and we have been unable to find a knobby tire which will fit the rear wheel of the Zongshen Sierra, or the new Zongshen RX3.

However, such tires are readily available in China, so CSC should not have any problem stocking up on them. A nice side benefit is Zongshen Sierra owners will also have a source for knobby rear tires. However, CSC will be the only source for these tires, and one will have to be content with their tire selection, and be obligated to pay their price, since they will have zero competition.

Nevertheless, if one is content with street tires, he won't have a problem finding many different tires which will fit the rear wheel of the RX3.

Over on ADV there were some pics of an RX3 with cast wheels. The cast wheels were also 17" on the rear.

Zongshen does sell both front, and rear cast wheels for the RX3, but I wouldn't want them. The spoked wheels are much stronger for dual sport usage.

Please do post a link to the ADV thread where you found the photograph.

Wolf, I think you meant 15". Looks like the tire says 130/90-15.

Thanks for posting the photo, Wolfie. Please post a link to the thread where the tire photograph appeared.

If you look at the writing on the bottom of the tire, you will see it's a 15-inch wheel. However, it's still interesting that Zongshen makes a cast wheel for the RX3, unless this is a cast wheel transferred from a Honda bike.

Here's a nice walk-around video of the RX3. It's edifying to watch, even if you can't speak Russian.

The more I look at that bike, the more I like it. That said, I think I'd elminate the close fenders. Those are troublesome on the TW200.

I'm getting the same feeling; the more I look at this bike, the more I like it. One can easily raise the front fender. He could add extensions to the side rails of the stock fender to raise it, or he could attach the stock fender, or another fender, to the engine guard.

I appreciated that video. I've never really focused on the exoskeleton before, and I quite like it; I think it's a good idea.

I wonder if the holes under the motor are intended for a center stand.

Yes, CSC has stated a center stand will be an option for the RX3.

Quite frankly, I wouldn't bother. I'd want maximum ground clearance on a bike like this.

Did you notice the key hole on the left side of bike, in front of the passenger peg? You can view it at the 1:43 mark in the video. I wonder if the key releases the saddle?

At the 5:52 mark on the video, I didn't see any grease zerks on the lower shock linkage. I wonder if the bike employs bushings, or bearings in the linkage?

I hadn't noticed. Perhaps it just release a locked cover.

The following video reveals the key unlocks the pillion saddle, which appears to cover the bike's electronic components.

I like the rebound damping of the shock absorber. The forks appear to be standard Chinese forks. I would appreciate even a single inch of longer travel in the forks.
