pitster
that was one of the reasons i shyed away from pitster ,,, I wanted one bad , but they couldn't tell me if i could register it in PA ,,,my other concern is parts ,can they be had ,,,for instance to do a valve adjustment on the pitster 400 ,it will require a shim kit with different sizes to get it right ,can this be had from pitster ,I doubt it and no one knows what the engine is based on yet,,,,,I still want one I just wish we knew more before i plunk down $3000

the first photo above with the body panels removed kind of shows how it would look solid black.. maybe with some bronze rims

Mine do not need any shim kit for valve adjustment, you loosen a nut and then you can adjust it by srewdriver. This should be same, it is same motor. |

And i think that this bike is very good for the price.
I got 1600 km on it now and checked valve clearance twice but they were ok. On the carb you will have problem becouse rubber quality on the vacuum secondary slide, at least i had and i got new carb. Now bike takes off much faster and feels stronger. Rubber quality is same on the tires too, they are really hard and slippery. On the side of tires it says " nylon ". But when you know it that they are slippery they are ok. On the pavement i have not have any problems with them. On the snow they are totally useless, no traction at all. |

Dang. If only the sale happened a month earlier. Would you take a trade-in of a lightly used 200cc chinabike?

As some of you might know, I rode my Zong to Salt Lake City several weeks ago. While I was in town, I test rode both the TMEC 200, and the Pitster Pro LXT 400. In summary, I agree with everything reported by Daddy469 about his LXT 400; this motorcycle seems to be nicely built, and it is fun to ride.
![]() However, after carefully considering the matter, I have decided not to buy a Pitster Pro LXT 400 for myself. Like many others, I have decided to wait, and learn from the experience gained by Daddy469, Fishman10, and other LXT 400 owners. ![]() The people at Pitster Pro were very nice, and I enjoyed my visit with them. I wish to thank them for allowing me to test ride this motorcycle. ![]() Spud ![]()

Nice Spud! That 400 really gets up and moves out. I'm glad you had the opportunity to pedal one around for a bit. I just wish I could ride mine....
