CA has been a Hot Spot but our rural county has only had 14 cases since the outbreak. If we can keep the tourists away from Sac and the Bay Area, we should be good.
Problem is they come up here to "get away from it".

Bars closed down last week. Beaches will be closed here over July 4 weekend. If boredom is a risk factor for getting covid, things are looking pretty bleak.
- Looking on the bright side, we are receiving shipments a lot faster. Our last Amazon and Ebay orders have arrived early.

Two great things happened this week. My wife was sick, but tested negative for the beer virus.
- A biopsy on a lesion on the back of my hand came back negative. Whew!

My type 2 has never been this well controlled. I eat better, and less, when I’m not traveling. I’m also more active, so I am still dropping pounds.

We had a water main break about a mile down the highway so we are ordered to boil tap water for drinking.
The highly skilled repair crew cut a fiber optic cable, taking out all cable TV and internet on the peninsula. - The good thing is that our power arrives via pole lines, so they didnt cut them too. We still have air conditioning. Woohoo!

We had to endure the dreaded 55 mph National Speed Limit from 1975-1988, so
I really have little sympathy for people who complain about wearing a mask in public indoor spaces for a couple of years.
