Thanks! There's some chance that my xt200 will be brought down in the back of a friends pickup, so I'll have a winter project to work on. It needs a lot, so may not be worth it, but will at least dig in to it, if it shows up here.

Got 2 decent rides with sister riding the Roketa in before the storms came, last and this week.

Not a Honda, but ran well and for 300$ not complaining at all. Will adjust handlebars, try and get a better set of foot pegs on it, and hopefully figure out a better shock for the rear.

No, my friends didn't drive their pickup down, so it still remains in Alaska.

It's actually ok, as I ended up with another falll/winter project - 2001 F150 super crew cab 5.4 with a seized engine. I've got it about half disassembled. And a junkyard engine waiting on the engine stand... a few more days and hope to have them swapped out. Kind of a tight engine bay. Not like the old trucks. Not as bad as the Chevy S10's tho.

Since it's seized I'm having to disassemble the complete top and then, I'll raise up the short block, get the pan off, and hopefully, after loosening the rods and mains will be able to turn it over to get the flex plate bolts out. It could be a seized camshaft too, so will find out after the heads are off and the chains are loose. Bought it cheap and knew what I was getting in to, but doesn't make it easier, lol.

Funny, the pics from your post of yesterday just popped up; I hadn't seen the images of you and your Sister until just now. Looks like it was a great day for a ride.

Are you dropping in another 5.4? Is it a similar year? Please consider starting a thread on it, as several of us would be into it.

I added the pictures when my sister sent me them. I'd be glad to start a thread about the swap. maybe in the general discussion about everything else forum?

I'll do that!

Yep, general discussion would be a good spot.

I ended up with a second Suzuki. This one, a 1971 TS185. Very close to the TC. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet, but it may be parts to get the TC running. I shall see. There will be at least 1 running Suzi out of the two. Also, I may have some parts available for someone, if interested. I'm really eager to use one of the bikes headlights on the Roketa, to make it look a little more normal. We shall see...

There she be! Engine is stuck but all the parts are there. Should have a decent running bike between the 2 of them, later this spring.

My brother bought that exact bike, but blue, brand new back then. I'll have to send him your pic!

1900.00..... When my brother and I road-tripped to Oregon to buy the two RX3's, the owner had a TS 185 in his shed, complete and basically clean and he just wanted to give it to us to clear his shed out. My brother thought of jumping on it for nostalgia sake but we had no room left in the truck.

Wonder if it's the same guy? This one is from Bandon Oregon and he's involved in the police department somehow... I got it for 120$.
