I wanted to put an ALH VW 1.9 TDI and manual trans in my '01 Ranger. The dang thing is falling apart though. My superhuman strength did this Friday a week ago. Glad I wasn't pi$$ed off. I may be riding around without a driver's door.

And to keep on topic, I tried to buy my youngest boy (15) breakfast this morning but he elected to pursue beauty sleep. So I bought me breakfast instead. I wanted to buy the cute check out girl breakfast but it was gonna be a while before she got her break.

I bought this spark arrestor to use in the aftermarket exhaust on my Hellcat.

I'm going to be riding in the forest this weekend and like Steve Buscemi in Fargo (one of my favorite movies ever) I want to be in full compliance.

A couple weeks ago I cashed in hotel points for a pair of 128gb IPod Touches for both Mrs. C and myself. Got here Tuesday. Kind of like a tiny IPad.

Brought home a new toy.

I came 75% to finishing the Ruckus project. I got it running reliably and got in some minimum customization, however I couldn't finish in time for the Gambler 500 so I never used it.

I then thought I'd cobble it together as a winter bike, however after riding my Suzuki in 20 degree weather there was no way I was going to do it on the Ruck clone.

So the Ruckus is up for sale and I replaced it with this 2012 CF Moto Fashion 250. I actually paid less for this than I did the Ruck!

I love it already. It's heavy (for a weakling like me) but when you're sitting on it you don't feel the weight anymore. It's deceptively light. And with basically being as long as my Goldwing it also feels quite comfy!

This is going to be my winter bike. The windscreen is going to be a big help and the storage is going to be very useful. The bike has a custom built head and a top speed that's allegedly faster than stock. Looks like it's having a small electrical issue keeping it from starting and the original owner apparently dropped it, shattering the little wing pieces on the front. However, the mounts for them are perfectly intact so that shouldn't be a big deal. I should be able to get it road ready again for less than $100.

My parking situation was even more comical during the summer!

The first picture should be (if it uploads in order) when I first got my motorcycle license in June. The Buell Blast and Honda Rebel sat in front of my two cars.

I then sold those two bikes, replaced them with giant vintage ones, then moved all my vehicles down the parking lot because the spaces in front of my condo were scheduled to be sealcoated. Second picture was my end of summer setup. Goldwing was under the black cover while my Jinlun Ruckus and Suzuki GS850 shared the other cover together.

The only reason I have the two bikes next to each other right now is because the second car is kinda stuck in the same space from the second pic. I need to charge the battery and move it closer to my condo.
