Ok...so I lied...
I totally forgot about the matching bar end sliders I bought months ago for the TT that I had stashed under the workbench. NOW the cockpit is done!
Is it me or are these gray bars ugly and need to match the dark graphite color of the plastics?

I was a bit surprised when Joe announced that one of the requested changes made by CSC was the change in color of the bars..he said it improved the look of the bike, have to admit, not to me..

It's not just that they standout as unmatching....but mine also shows up scratched and a little buggered up. The color really shows errors... Bad choice. Mrs. 2LZ likes the feel of the bars so I don't want to change them, I think when I do the tear down, they're getting shot a different color.

Does the stock CSC TT250 Muffler qualify as spark arrested as far as California OHV areas go?

Does it have the stamp? No. Will it pass the poker test, yes. I've never once in my life had a Ranger look at my muffler for a stamp. They always use a welding rod or coat hanger looking for a stoppage up the pipe. I've never been denied at any OHV park or been ticketed in USFS land for not passing the poker test, regardless of what pipe I've had because I've always had a spark arrestor, stamped or not.

I read about this prior to mine arriving and I forget who it was, but they said to clean both rotors really well prior to riding. I did that, got a bunch of gunk off of them and they bedded in great. You may want to try a good cleaning and rebedding. See if it helps.

I'm definitely planning on doing this since my front brake could barely slow me down initially. Of course, I'll have to wait until I get my lever and reservoir replaced. Speaking of which, I should get parts on Friday, so I should be able to get them installed that night (aw shucks, I guess I'll have to test them out), and then I should be back working on my break-in period. Even with expedited shipping, I'm out less than 50 bucks for the whole assembly, and they appear to have them in stock when you call and talk to them.

Rear Sprocket
Once I get the motor mods done, I want to drop a couple teeth off the rear sprocket and bring up the top speed a bit, without chewing off trail riding ability.
Think the TT takes a JTR269(?) like some other Hondoids? Anyone cross reference anything yet?

I read it on here too, so I cleaned the rotors before I rode it and my brakes seem to be working just fine. My only problem so far has been a broken speedometer cable and the speedo not working. No major issues. I just need to get it registered.
