It can only be experienced ....not told about. Additionally there is the joy when you step outside and the bitter cold immediately vacates all the oxygen from your lungs and for a moment it's as if you've stepped into a lunar vacuum. . . again - experienced not told about LOL.

Natural instinct for man (male) to one up, when talking about ones own regional weather. We have a town in our area that always has to be 3 degrees hotter on our weather report .

Got my new chain and sprocket installed and cleaned up with no petroleum lube now. Course it's 11am, too dam hot to ride now

Somewhat spendy day for Mother Cheesys' oldest boy.

New 4'/4500 lumen shop lamp for over my bench and a pair of spiffy sunglasses from Sam's Club. Looks to be a wise pairing as I need the shades when the lamp gets turned on.

Also ordered a bunch of tubes, nuts, and bushings from Mcmaster-Carr.

I bought a near new 10' folding boat called a portaboat from a guy who didn't know what his departed dad had for $15.00 ,I will strap it to the Cessna then bring the dumbass out for a day of fishing in it in a few weeks if I ever get done building these pools and decks .I also bought a couple new estwing framing hammers on sale at tractor supply ,for some reason when I work with another builders crew ,they like to swap their smaller estwings for my framers instead of buying their own .

As long as you use them, you never finish buying tools.

You may as well get the amazon credit card to earn discounts on future purchases (I sound like a salesman) . Decent % earned.

I picked 42 lbs. of strawberries today with my son in about a half hour .That is pretty slow for us ,but the berries were not all ripe so we had to move much further than usual .Two blue metal coleman coolers 3/4 full before we gave up .I can usually pick a full cooler myself in 15 minutes .

I cleaned them then stuck them in the freezer ,I make frozen yogurt smoothies because I can't handle too much sugar anymore ,so I will squirrel these away and use them as I need them .We actually wanted twice as many ,but the place was kind of picked through already ,I will try another farm next week .

Fortunately (according to Mrs 2LZ), I don't spend on the bikes until I have it. 0% is hard to beat. The downside is that this self-inflicted financial responsibility (when spending on toys) makes it hard to wait sometimes. Lots of teeth gnashing watching the calendar tick by.

What did I buy today? A new TT exhaust. Bad 2LZ.....
