10 at night just now getting off work............ all my roommates are gone and the naiborges are gone for the summer time to get to work!!!!

Excellent! I'm glad you verified your ZS250GS employs an AC-CDI unit. I wonder if anyone has an accurate wiring diagram for this bike? The only wiring diagram I found for the ZS250GS shows the bike using a DC-CDI unit.

WELL STILL not running =( little poofs of white smoke but no real bang or kick not even a stumble..

smokes coming from the exhaust right? LOL thats a good sign, youre getting close....

yep now i think my issues ib the carb i'm taking it off and checking for fuel flow 11:37pm

have you tried starter fluid? would be a good indicator if it pops over on starter fluid that theres a carb issue...

no i dont have any but i primed the chamber with some gas and put the plug back in as well as shot some fule in to the intake side and got nothing but its late and i might be missing something ill see in the morning its shower time and food time i'm es-static (yes pun intended) and shocked (again) to have spark back!

Now that you have spark, the problem must reside in one of these other areas.

Compression
Air
Fuel

I suggest you check compression first. If compression is low, check the valve lash before you check elsewhere.

I use these feeler gauges, which I bought from Harbor Freight.

The valve lash for your ZS250GS is probably the same as for my Zong.

just looked at them and a Compression tester doe 20 bucks... any luck with them?

Yes, I also own the Harbor Freight Compression Tester. It does a good job.
