Thanks for the report, P.
I've camped a couple of times at Willville...but not recently, ...even ate at the Tuggle's Gap restaurant. Great picture of the RX3 at the D-Day Memorial. jb

Good report. I'm interested in some bag liners too for the Tourfella cases if you have any more info.

P.S. After your collecting hose shrinks to make a tight fit with the plug, you will start collecting fluid from the OCS. However, it might take a year for the tube to shrink tight enough. In the meanwhile, you will notice the tube becoming discolored by the water/gas mixture passing through it.

Great pictures!
It's a bit chilly in the Northeast for mid may, 38 degrees at noon here in upstate NY. Forecast has mention of snow in it....... way to late for that! |

Loved the ride report pyoungbl! You made me homesick. I grew up about 45 minutes south east of the Meadows of Dan. We used to ride up the mountain (as we called it) every year for apples and leaf peeping in the fall. Lovers Leap and Tuggles Gap were always favorites of mine.

Today I did the first oil change. aside from the 1 tiny sliver of metal on the plug magnet everything was clean (filter ,strainers). I called CSC the other day and spoke to the mechanic and told him what oil I wanted to run and he said thats what he runs in his ( not gonna say ,dont want an oil war started, the same thing I run in my ultra classic) For those who havent done their first oil change, go ahead and get a funnel with the clear flexible hose. the dang exhaust header is about 2 inches right above the fill cap.

I use a regular funnel to pour engine oil into the hole sealed by the small, slotted cap above the clutch basket. The engine oil pours in quickly, and cleanly.

Oil change aid.
I found this at a local auto parts store, the flow to the tube can be regulated with the blue knob, you can shut the flow all the way off to get a acurate oil measurement. This allows you to use the larger oil port behind the exhaust pipe to add the oil accurately and with out a lot of mess.
