The older you are, the worse it seems to affect you. Mine was about a 10 day ordeal, 7 days with a fever, and then a couple of weeks with limited breathing, but otherwise feeling "ok." Even once you feel better you will be physically tired for several days. I don't think I ever slept so much.

Bad news is that a thief broke the passenger window on my wife's jeep yesterday in the Montrose area. The good news is that they didn't steal the jeep!
-we thought we needed a police report, but they will not get involved if the loss is less than $5,000.

20200529_144820.jpgWe had a few funnel clouds visible from my house today. I caught one in this pic. They never touched down and there was no reported damage.

It has kept me out of having to work in New York.

Harold wanted me to go this Monday and I gave him an emphatic Nope. He got a little pissy about it so I reminded him with 1)I’m 64 and 2)I’m diabetic. Followed by “or did you forget?” “Oh”.

ATTENTION!! I posted a meme on FB about the actual fatality rate of the virus, and the effectiveness of wearing masks in public, and recounted my own 3 and a half week ordeal with the virus. Now I'm blocked from posting, commenting, or reacting to any post for the next 3 days, because it was reported as "misinformation" which goes against Zuckerberg's community standards. Uhmm.. the book 1984 is here. I'm just wondering who possibly could have the money to buy him out, and why?

Went to Myrtle Beach, from here in MD, for Memorial Day weekend.. Got to eat at dine-in restaurants. It was awesome.

BTW, I was told they've never had to wear masks there.. So nice to not having to wear masks.

The governor of SC is great. One of the last shut down and one of the first to open. I went to a dirt track race tonight. Not a mask in sight. Not a mention of a virus. Hamburgers hotdogs, and great racing.

If you can control the release of info, you can control the PEOPLE. FB is just one of many organizations that capitalize on that fact.

I never thought I'd live to see the day. Finally hit the gas station. Opened the gas door on the side of the Jeep to see.....spiderwebs. After all the super-commuting, the most my gas door ever saw was wind burn from opening and closing so often.

Alas, Harris County ordered all bars to close at noon today. Back to virtual happy hours. The good thing is that it will save me some money.
-Hospital ICUs are at near capacity in Harris County, so we are almost reverting back to lock down measures.
