Hmm, with the wheel fully forward it looks like I’m a link short.

Yep my chain was super tight but I had plenty of room for adjustment after loosening axle and adjusters. After I added the larger 13t front sprocket I still had plenty of adjustment left. I've got a couple hundred miles on it now and haven't had to readjust it. That big old 530 chain doesn't seem to stretch at all.

@allterrain when you're trying to put the chain together, if you do it on the rear sprocket, it helps to hold the chain together. You can also buy half links if needed, like if you're only one tooth from connecting.

I had put the TBR7 build date 9/2020 together yesterday. The new sealed battery is to big for the cage. I had to cut the bottom lip of the battery off with a hacksaw to get it in. I also had to trim the bottom of the side panel to get it to fit with the larger battery. It all worked out in the end. 17 tooth sprocket and carb jets arrive tomorrow. 👍

I changed both sprockets to a 13/32 - 520 and then changed the chain to a 520 and it runs great no slop stays adjusted and the chain has O-Rings on each link so it is very quiet . https://www.ebay.com/itm/Chain-520-x...e/283775454918

TBR7 gas tank upgrade

Has anyone upgraded gas tank on the TBR7?
If so, what aftermarket tank fits?

2021 tbr7 delivery

I just recvd a 2021 as well. I tried to buy some upgrades before it arrived.
So far the only mistake was the LED headlight I bought. It doesn't fit the hole. I saw a guy on YT put one in a tbr7 so I got it but the 2021 must be different.

I also tried to order my upgrades at the same time as the bike only to find out everything I was going to upgrade has changed. Where did you buy the bike? Some are equipped with led headlights.

I originally ordered from Q9 in the early summer but cancelled due to very very delayed continued backorder. In September I ordered from Arlington/TX Powersports and it arrived in less than a week.

It came with the LED light from the factory at least on mine.

I recently purchased my TBR7 and discovered I have the 530/12T front and 530/38T combo as well. I want to upgrade to 530/13T front and 530 (30T-34T rear). I am having a hard time finding a place that sells the 530 sprockets I want. Does anyone have suggestions on where I can find a good selection 530 sprocket sizes that will fit the TBR7?

With a 13t front sprocket and 530 stock chain, my chain has 102 links.

I too had problems with finding 530 sprockets. So I went with 520 instead. I went with a 13/32 and found the 28.6% loss in torque and 28.6 gain on speed was too much. So I now have a 12/32 on the bike which is an 18.8% loss in torque and 18.8% gain on speed. I haven
