It will play aux, cd, usb and of course, radio. Figured it was better than a junkyard ford stereo. I sold the 'bling' rims yesterday. Pocketed a little money from that. Also, looking at drivers side seat reupholstering kits. around 300-375$, so hope to get that done soon...

I've been quite satisfied with cheap installation kits, which include the wiring harness. Despite the low price, I've never had connection problems, and it's so much better than hacking into the factory harness. I'd much rather solder the installation kit harness to the stereo harness on the bench, and then install the whole deal in the dash.
I've gotten lucky with the last two I've done. I horse-traded for the stereos, and picked up cheap installation kits on eBay. When you say DIN 2, is that the same as double DIN? If so, that would be cool because it would fill the space better than a single DIN. I'd love to see a pic.

I've ordered the seat cover replacement and new headlights. Really, a carpet and the door fixed are the last 2 things at this point. Running well!

I'm looking forward to the seat cover replacement process. I'm considering replacing only the seat portion of the driver's seat, since the back is ok. It's leather, so it's a little spendy.

The rest of my seat is fine, but the drivers side is really messed up...

Do you mind to share the company name of the seat cover vendor?

as far as sharing seat cover company, here's the Ebay name:
http://www.ebay.com/usr/usleathercar...72.m2749.l2754 but, in no way do I endorse at this point, as my covers haven't arrived... Will report back as soon as they get in tho, with quality and fitment info.

Thanks for the link! The seat bottom for my truck is $139.00; not a bad price.
I like the stereo! I'd have to do some cutting in my Silverado as well, but I went a different route. Mine has the ridiculous slave cassette player, so I bought a storage pocket that will replace it (which is where the brake controller will go). The port that the cassette player used will be the connection point for a peripheral aux input I bought on eBay. I'll just plug a cheap MP3 player into it.

Lands...that had a hard life. It seems Ford really used some thin leather. The king ranch leather on my cousins mid 2000's f250 seems alot tougher.

Got the seat covers today. They look to be good quality, the Lariat insignia is correctly sewn in, right color, and leather. So, today will install. Will report back on fitment later.

No different that my Silverado. The constant sliding in and out of the driver's seat takes a toll eventually. My old Sierra with cloth seats was even worse.
