Heads Up!
Hey TT250 gang.
After the first go-around, I put the TT back on the rack to set up the rear shock and front fork dampening to Mrs. 2LZ liking. Last night I got home from work and rolled it off the rack for a ride to make sure it wouldn't bottom out with me on it and as I was warming it up, I smelled gas. At first I thought it was a hose connection to the fuel filter so I checked those...and found out it was the filter leaking at the glue seam. It took virtually zero effort to pop it apart. This was probably just a fluke because I've had bad filters in the past, but I'll let Ryan know that they may have some filter issues afoot. Keep your eyes open.....

is that supposed to be a sealed unit (replace it whole) or one with a replacable filter inside?
at least its an easy fix.

Fact is, I've had trouble with inline filters most of my life. This is no surprise to me. Just bum luck I guess.

yeah I've noticed even subtle issues with every engine and vehicle since the ethanol shift.
probably replace it with a reusable unit with a stainless mesh strainer. like this: https://smile.amazon.com/Cleanable-Universal-Motorcycle-Snowmobile-options/dp/B01DMWT8NC/ref=pd_sim_sbs_263_3?ie=UTF8&dpID=41Gp4jm6l-L&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&psc=1&re fRID=4MVG1ERQ1ZCAEWVW3T3Y

Ah hell, didn't want to wait. Just ran down to the corner Napa on break and got 6' of good Gates fuel line and a new, stone-type filter. I've not had any problem with those type.
Now after I cut out the foot I need, I get to lose this huge length of fuel line just like the other 85' I have somewhere............

Hey, if they do the affiliate program with the TT250 like they do with the RX3, you might get some (monetary) compensation out of it anyway!

How long to build one?
So is it still taking 4 months to get one of these after you order one? At that rate I would get it just around the end of the riding season here in Colorado.
