A 1957 Sturmey Archer SW(seldom works)three speed hub off fleabay Cunuckistan. Never had one that I recall. Supposedly seized, but they don't seize, they gum up from 3 in 1 veggie oil. We'll see what a little wd-40 does to it when it gets here.

And a belated Happy Canada Day to youse guys nort uv da border.

The World's Most Expensive Cup of Coffe

http://chinariders.net/attachment.ph...1&d=1531486319

As the title says, I bought the worlds most expensive cup of terrible coffee this morning. The missus was stung by a bark scorpion three, yes, THREE times this morning while sleeping. She had a really bad reaction, and we had to rush her to the ER. Scorpion venom is a neurotoxin, and the results are dramatic, to say the least. It took two doses of the anti-venom before she finally started to come out of it. On the plus side, the neurotoxin is designed to break down in the stomach (that's how scorpions eat, obviously), so that means we can serve the missus up with some fava beans and a nice Chianti! Seriously though, we're back home now and she's resting comfortably.

I bought a bottle of water and an eye exam today. Couldn't afford my first pair of glasses. Yesterday, Friday the 13th, I bought a doctor's visit. I'll be posting that shortly or in the morning. Not such a lucky day for me Friday the 13th.
