He's got the feathered hairdo (think Don Johnson in Miami Vice), the aviator sunglasses (think Tom Cruise in Top Gun), Marlboro Reds, dresses like Don Johnson in Miami Vice, and even has the cocaine nose job. Hell, I expect to see a Deloraine drive around the corner.

HAHAHA! Well ben, I think it is peppy and fun to drive yet still a sensible 4 door hatchback car. I was dang tired of driving my jeep. And this ST would shame my old 68 mustang I had in highschool.

I had a 1964.5 Mustang all original rust free back in 1990. It was a three on the tree car with an inline six, manual drum brakes, heater, and am radio. Oh, it was red with red interior. It was the most basic Mustang ever made. I let a family friend talk me into letting him turning the car into a Pro Street rod. I drove it once and got 4mpg. It had a 500ci Lincoln engine with a Whipple charger on it and a Jerico four speed, I think. It was the model with the four individual shifters and a reverse lever. It may have been a Munci. I gave $1500 for the car from an elderly lady. Yep, drove to church, bank, and grocery store. It was kept in a carport attached to her house. Car had 60,000 miles when I got it. It had 79,000 when I screwed up and let the car get cut up and caged with MT 33x18.5-15 cheater slicks. I still kick my ass for letting that car get cut up. Oh well, at least the guy gave me what I bought the car for, $1500. I believe he had it planned out. If the car turned out, he pays me for the car. If it turned to crap, I would get stuck with the carcass.

Heretic.

My daughter has an older Focus and she loves it. I’ve gotten a few ST rentals and they are impressive.

Jeep for a focus ? You must be off your meds .Two weeks ago I saw the most hideous car ever ,a focus 4 door with some black lexan wheel flares ,and a rear spoiler taller than a super bird ,it was a good 8 inches over the roof .I was driving my daughter home from work ,and I was laughing so hard I had to pull off the road to take a break .It was clearly ready for the super speedway ,baby seats and all .
I got to go puke !

That does sound terrible, Just got tired of driving a vehicle that handles like an anvil on a brick, gets horrific MPG, takes 3 city blocks to stop from 60 and rides like a buckboard. I went from a trans am to a ford f150 to a acura to a GTO to the jeep and now a focus. I will keep it 4-5 years and who knows what is next. I love it and i promise you i will not put a super bird wing on it.

I used to collect them in my younger days. Got too expensive so kept my speeding to track use only.

Mini truck racing got my license in high school. Few could keep up with me including the police. Only the Mustangs 5.8L Interceptors could catch me.

New helmet

Got a new helmet. I think my head shrunk. My old helmet fit was way to lose. A couple of time it got sucked up when meeting up with a big rig and pull the chin bar up right in my field of view. Talk about make your butt pucker up.

Where did you find the knock-off GoPro? Keep us updated on how it performs. I've learned lately that a lot of knock-offs are performing very good in comparison.

I've had bad luck with the big dollar go pro stuff. The SJ4000 was an all around better camera and lasted longer than the gopro.
