And if ..... you could stand aluminum, rather than carbon fiber, I'm sure one of us can "hook you up".

You couldn't even get a pniky finger in the interior exit pipe before I modified it.

I could be wrong, but I still wonder why they don't show the exit portion.

Interesting.

No rush anyways. The bike is in many pieces awaiting parts and unlikely to be going anwhere soon.

That's a little like my 250 Ninja's stock exhaust was.

I predicted this bike would have been running by page 3.

You're an optimistic man, Cal; I admire positive thinkers!

P.S. I'm doing my best to get Doc his parts as quickly as possible.

Sad news about Reveen's dog. I'm glad you could make the choice to let him go and be at peace.
We will see them again.

A quick update.

I set the valves (they were nearly perfect) and changed the oil and cleaned the grounds and changed the coil with a new Lifan unit.

No joy. Same thing. very weak spark.

I also performed a smogectomy. It still does not run but the Zong feels better without the tumor I bet! :P

As for the emission device...its a tumor prevention device not actually a tumor itself. Whats the hippocratic oath, did you read it as a hypocrite oath?

The Hippocratic Oath:

I swear by Apollo, the healer, Asclepius, Hygieia, and Panacea, and I take to witness all the gods, all the goddesses, to keep according to my ability and my judgment, the following Oath and agreement:
To consider dear to me, as my parents, him who taught me this art; to live in common with him and, if necessary, to share my goods with him; To look upon his children as my own brothers, to teach them this art.

I will prescribe regimens for the good of my patients according to my ability and my judgment and never do harm to anyone.

I will not give a lethal drug to anyone if I am asked, nor will I advise such a plan; and similarly I will not give a woman a pessary to cause an abortion.

But I will preserve the purity of my life and my arts.

I will not cut for stone, even for patients in whom the disease is manifest; I will leave this operation to be performed by practitioners, specialists in this art.

In every house where I come I will enter only for the good of my patients, keeping myself far from all intentional ill-doing and all seduction and especially from the pleasures of love with women or with men, be they free or slaves.

All that may come to my knowledge in the exercise of my profession or in daily commerce with men, which ought not to be spread abroad, I will keep secret and will never reveal.

If I keep this oath faithfully, may I enjoy my life and practice my art, respected by all men and in all times; but if I swerve from it or violate it, may the reverse be my lot.

I never took it. I declined/refused.

As a Christian I'd never swear by false gods, and even if I did being baseless such an oath would be meaningless.
I've never actually read the oath before, I only was vaguely aware of the part about do no harm. It seems that oath needs to be updated for modern times?

As to the not swearing to a false god, I suppose it could be interpreted as not swearing to a god which you believe to be false? As it's not only a Christian belief that THEIR god is the only true god. That is likely true of any religion (or that their gods in the event the particular religion in question has multiple gods). Religion is in so many things, where as there is supposed to be a separation of church and state and a freedom of or from religion. Such as swearing on the bible in court, or God Bless America on currency for example.

(Edit: Ahh, my search informs me there is indeed a modern version)

Sorry to hear about your dog, Reveen.

Doc, good luck with the bike.
