Very true and that is the only reason I dont have one yet. I was talking to Don over at APSC and he told me he had 18 Hawks registered in Colorado in the last week?

Well then it is down to what you plan to do with the bike they come factory with very different spects for what I read the hawk is a dirt dobber and the tt that I have is more 50/50

So do you plan on more dirt or more day to day commuting

I have not had many times to take mine off road but it is more that I will go wide open with on any real dirt trails

But as far as day to day I love it I will have to dust off my shadow this weekend and ride it before it's batery is dead.

One last thing to think about

Real consider what you need before price

Because if you pay less for what you don't really want or can't use it is not a deal

Iam inclined to get a TT250 but the thought of paying an extra $1100 for an extra 4in of seat height is kind of a turn off.

Four more inches of seat height compared to which bike? The Hawk is close to 36 inches before you sit on it.

Compared to the Storm 250 which is only 29" to the top of the seat. I wonder if a bigger rear shock would fix that?

You would also have to change the forks.

Are there two heights for this bike? Ive seen ads saying 29" and ads saying 34.5" high seats? What wheels are you riding?

The one from powersportsbest is a shorty. I saw one that said it had a seat height 34.5 if I can only remember where?
