I thought it was counter balanced only if it was a 2M, and the 2 wasn't counter balanced?

Ok....I don't even have a 2 However I do have a "bump" and "fins"
on my engine. So am I to believe I have a counter balance?
Iv been reading up on CDI'z.And their is a thread on how a CDI with
advanced timing aaaaaand little to no rev.limiter will add to existing mods
Now I just got to fined my CDI With so many being available this
might be hit or miss thing which could get costly. But Ill give it a shot.
Im planing on getting a bigger engine so I don't mined slapping this one
around :twisted:Oh look Iv attained the rank of cool boy :o 8)

I would love to throw the 250cc 2 cylinder on there, but it looks like it makes the same peak horsepower as the 200cc and weighs more. Worth the extra cash and weight?

I'm not replacing or modding the engine till I blow it up...and I hope that never happens.... so I'm out of this discussion.
I'm planning out a new rear fender, a 15 inch back rim, and a real back tire that I can replace. The stock 14 inch tire is driving me nuts trying to find a replacement for.

I would and am scared of the frame for most mods. I found some of the welds to be really bad. I would love to strip it all down, touch up the welds, and then have it all just nickle plated to add strength to total frame. Then have the frame powder coated.

But by the time I get that all done I could have bought another bike all together. LOL

Hello LIL John and big ups to Sgt Scorpion,Forklift!!Its been a lttle while(been busy). You know Lil John its funny that you mention that, cause that happened to me also. What I would suggest is for you to adjust the slack in the jackshaft and make sure that the alignment is correct.A lil trick is once you have it tight, put the bike in neutral and roll it backwards.look and "listen"for the sound of the chain popping or wanting to come off.Its also good to keep the tire off the ground when adjusting(in case you didn't know).I cannot stress this to you enough,LOCTIGHT ALL YOUR NUTS AND BOLTS!!I was cruisin the strip near the beach here in j-ville one day when my chain came off(DAMMIT)which if it wasn't for this nice guy finding the chain,I'dve had to replace more than the master link. And the cause was from loose sproket nuts.Oh and replace those chains they won't last. The dealer I got mine from said that gold plating actually weakens the chain and will lead to premature failure just a reminder. As for mirrors they aren't hard to find.I'll post up pics of mine this week.I hope this helps you as I felt all alone too till I found Forklift and all others on this unique forum RIDE ON!!BTW I am 5'6 205lbs and I fit good and as was said before Girls Love It!cept 4 tha seat

nabsport....good to hear from you.Yep, another thing we need to check
often nuts and bolts. If I read Lil-Jhons post right his jackshaft came loose
and his chain broke. The bolts on my jackshaft screw in to the mounting
plate and then a jam nut is added at the bottom. Now the jam nut "shouldn't"come loose and even if it did my allen bolts should still
hold.A little trick I did was added 3 washers to ea.of the front 2 allen bolts
(under the jackshaft) and 2 at ea.of the back ones it worked!!
But now I got the 17t so I was able to get rid of the washers.
I'm working on a mod for the jackshaft but it will totally replace the
whole thing.I'm going to use a splin that will use common moto sprockets
and would be more substantial.
PS if you order mirrors you need to order metric and/or you will
need adapters.See my pics.

Hey forklift, have you contemplated a belt drive ? That would be the mod of all mods for the Dragon.
I haven't had the chain problem yet. But I noticed on my short trips that I always have to re adjust the chain. It's almost like the chain is expanding the more I ride.

Yes,
No matter how tight I get the chain it seems to strech.
Dont know if it's that or wheel & jackshaft are sliding forward.
The idea on belt drive crost my mind. But if you would do that,
I would think a way more powerful engine would be needed. And
I dont think their is room for that ,and the belt drive And I think
a diff. wheel would be in order.I dont mind spending a fair
amount of money on this bike. But some where I gots to draw the
line :P
