That 13T really wakes the bike up. If you find it's too low for highways, you could put the 14T back on and put a 45T on the rear. 13/44 is perfect for me, but 14/45 would be a nice compromise to get a little more oomph at 4000 RPM.

It hasnt started raining yet so I went out to the shop to jump on the bike and go to the store and check out the sprocket. My helmet was hung on the handle bar and when I went to get it something shot out and brushed my arm and about made me about crap my pants. I didnt ride the bike to work yesterday and in ONE DAY and inside my shop some birds decided to build a big nest in my helmet. well good news is the sprocket worked great! no more sliding the clutch in first.

On a side note, I had to go to DMV yesterday, get the bike inspected and get my plate. It was HOT. It hit about 102'+. To make matters worse, every light in Jackson, CA (my closest "big town") was flashing due to major construction. Traffic was seriously backed up. So, instead of center-lining (legal here), I opted to sit there and cook and watch my temp gauge and put the bike through the paces. I'm happy to say the highest it got in almost 15 minutes of sitting in hot traffic was 3 bars. Yeah! Boy was I happy to get rolling though.

I hope it goes well Ron..... I think the bike is a fantastic small department patrol asset and for a university even more so.

Back and forth from dorm building to dorm. Also riding campus sidewalks between buildings. Perfect vehicle for keeping eye on facilities I would think . Slow speed idle work ,also can Handel off road slick wet grass if proper tires . And we know you can light up the night with all the led s available.

That would be awesome! I can see the government agencies picking these up by the ton. Who else can "low bid" them?

Hi Ron
Thank you for taking the time to speak with me last night concerning the RX3-P. I am beginning to think that it will make a nice patrol bike for our Campus. I will call you tomorrow and set a time to come look at your bike.

Just did my 500 mi. valve adjustment so i guess ill post my thoughts.......it sucks! it doesnt sorta suck , it doesnt kinda suck, it doesnt somewhat suck, it just plain sucks! especially if your doing it by yourself when its 94deg. outside already and a 105 heat index in the drive way. If you havent done it yet go ahead and buy a table lift like 2lz has! My bad back is killing me! do it in your air conditioned garage and make sure no kids are around to hear you cuss. adjusting the valves are not bad ,its just getting to them. that being said Im glad i did it because mine were almost completly closed. someone at csc did take a sharpie and mark my valve covers with arrows and a R and F at least. all in all I guess my conclusion is, it sucked...but at least its done.
