Older Allis Chalmers 405 rear engine rider lawn mower. Not sure what year it is. It has a newer 5 hp brigs on it that uses a bit of oil but does not smoke too bad. Takes a few pulls to start when cold with the choke on but after it has warmed up it takes only one to fire it up. Need to wire in a kill switch of some type. All of the original wiring has been disconnected. Going to see if i cant just find a simple keyed kill switch that fits where the original key is now. Here it is with my '92 John Deere SX95 RER that i bought last fall. It seems i may have a lead on a lot of about 10 JD tractors of various sizes that i might be able to get for as cheap as i bought the '92 for. Since i do not really have the space to restore the full size machines..this kind of scratches that itch for tinkering when i do not feel like working on the bikes or the 4 wheel vehicles. Plus there is the simple fact that in the end i plan on getting a few of them to a reliable enough condition that i can rely on them to make money for me by cutting lawns and what not. May try to kick off a side business doing stuff like that to make a bit of extra side money to support that habit lol.

My aunt has an SX95 of about the same vintage. I have a Murray RER with a 12.5 Briggs flatty from the late 80's or early 90s. I need to dig it out and restore it for my mother to use.

A 'confirmed standby' ticket so I could get home from San Fran this evening instead of Oh Dark Thirty tomorrow morning.

Went back to look at the conditions of the yard the Capri and F250 are in today and changed up the deal with the F250. Getting both the truck and this trailer for $800. The trailer itself was built in '89 it will need some work but it will be so nice to have my own trailer to haul stuff with. The plan is to set up the F250 as its tow rig. I also got ahold of a small vintage slide in camperette for the F250 that will be delivered later this month. I will be doing a one day recovery of the Truck, trailer and Capri in about a week or so. Basically pull the Capri home on the trailer first then the truck or vice versa. As the trailer will be part of the F250 build i will place both in the same thread and will repost these pics there along with a few others in a bit.

2x Duracell 2023 batteries to fix a problem with Bios resetting data after every shutdown... only needed one battery for the computer but having a spare battery on hand is always handy

Bought a cover for the hawk i see so many guys keeping the bikes ATVS lawn mowers outside like all summer long all winter long an no cover ,i think a cover an under some cover like a garage or a canopy ,something is better then leaveing anything with an engine outside in the elmiments ,my personal thought on it is they fade faster, get water in them easyer ,an just dont last as long as well as need parts more often,i just find as i got older takeing care of the things that take care of me ,a cover may seem simple ,at one time before my garage it was all i had ,an its all one needs ,yup got my cover today
