FYI, that luggage rack is on a Templar motorcycle like ours (X model) that is sold on Alibaba. The luggage rack itself is currently NOT available separately on Alibaba.

We have asked PSM whether they would offer the racks, and they responded positively, maybe two months ago, but the rack has not showed up on their website.

If you want to buy that rack, join the few people that have contacted PSM and asked for a part number, and offered to buy the rack if it becomes available. Only persistent requests might get PSM to order some of them from Zumaav. But they are unlikely to order any if there is insufficient interest.

Did they give you a price for it?

They won't have a price until they have a part number, and in stock. Maybe. We need more people interested in it before they will order some (if Zuumav has extras).

Amazons easy to return stuff. I think my wife returns half what she buys on there. Just go to orders and returns and follow the steps.

Yeah I just hate how slow they are. Takes around 10 days for “prime” delivery anymore. My local NAPA will have a new battery for me here Monday.
Just really, really hate Amazon.

Yeah man. I know. Their shipping has gotten slow. Used to be better. I don’t blame you for buying local.

Popped the bud fuse coming off my battery today-I can clearly see 250v but not the amperage-are they 10A?
Edit: No auto parts stores within 40 miles of me have 10a 250v glass fuses. Lol. WTF man.

Edit II: The bike cokes with a spare in the fuse box! Ha!

I accidentally popped my stock fuse when I was putting together my bike. NAPA auto parts had a 5 pack of 10a-250v fuses. Popped right in and worked great.

2 napas in my area, neither do.
To be fair, they mostly cater to large trucks/tractors out here

Yeah, it makes sense that they would stock stores differently depending on region. I just did a quick Amazon search and they have 20 packs for $5. But then you're waiting on Amazon, which is always a pain in the ass.

I replaced mine with a blade-type fuse holder.

Hey Okierider. I’m embarrassed to ask. But where is the fuse box?

It’s not a box: the fuse is in-line in a tube connected to the positive line coming off the battery. Remove your seat and you will see it next to the battery.

Doh! Fuel Tank Modification

Some folks don't like not having a petcock with official ON and Reserve. Not sure I didn't think of this before.

Fuel tank crossover lines have been a thing for decades. If both fuel nipples on the Templar X 250 tank are both flush with the bottom of the fuel tank simply remove the existing fuel lines and petcock and install a single fuel line from one tank nipple to the other tank nipple. This creates a fuel crossover line that allows fuel to flow from one side of the fuel tank to the other side.

Now that both lobes are connected, install a new petcock bung in a new location on the tank and install a petcock that screws into the corresponding bung that comes with ON and Reserve tubes, these also usually have depending on personal opinion either the added benefit or hassle of an added fuel filter tube surrounding both pickup tubes.

Edit: If going to that trouble, you might as well look at if its possible to put in a fuel sender unit as well.
