First few miles seemed very strange to me but I am used to my shadow it sets very low The tt is tall and you feel like you comand the road you are up high It handles well after I get used to it it will handle much better than my cruiser I had no problems with shifting or neutral You will enjoy it I am sure of that I will enjoy finding it's limits

Did you stick with the stock tires and sprockets to start? I'm especially interested in the performance since it's gonna be my commuter and fun bike.

So today I was showing a buddy my new TT and he said "What's that?"
I said "I think it is some sort of chain guard". "It looks like a brush catcher" "I agree, maybe it's on backwards" A quick web photo search confirmed that. Two minutes in the shop fixed that. My "research" told me that it was to keep things from getting stuck between the chain and the sprocket, including the feet of crashing racers.

Quick question for anyone that has a Hawk already or got their TT250, has anyone pulled apart the rear fender to see what may or may not be possible as far as fender elimination?
This is one of the first cosmetic mods I plan on tackling... wondering if it is possible to keep the stock tail light without the fender and just add a plate holder bracket with LED strip...or possibly modify a DRC edge/edge2 taillight setup to fit... I will find out soon enough just curious if anyone has done this already?

My new GoPro came in the mail, so I will be doing an un boxing video as well as many other videos for the TT250 for those that are waiting some more visuals. Once I get my bike, I'll keep you all posted.

They are called a Shark's fin and are mainly to save your own digits going into your own chain and sprkt on an off. They are compulsory in many off road sporting events, trials and enduro especially. Scrutineering prior to a start, and if your bike does not have it's shark fin on, you won't be competing. |

That is kinda cool how they come backwards to actually suck your finger into the chain and sprocket, instead of deflect it. I just checked the CSC site for TT pics and many are backwards.
Nice catch indeed.
