Rubber hose - a "breather", rather than prentsipialno he was a little pinched. Here he simply sent down without afterburning crankcase gases, although it is not environmentally friendly:

The purpose was to increase fuel mileage, and save fuel.

I agree that the motor is likely well balanced, but silent blocks are not common in competition motorcycles. Vibration is not an issue when you race or ride in the forest.

Water (H2O) is effectively an inert molecule during combustion. It does cool the charge (very high heat capacity) during compression and can help efficiency and detonation resistance. But in the actual combustion event it pretty much just takes up space. This is effectively a way to simulate an engine of smaller displacement at part throttle cruising. At a constant speed it would be more fuel efficient if you could magically trade for a smaller engine running at wide open throttle (WOT). Injecting water vapor at this time approximates this. The water molecules take up space and require opening the throttle wider to account for this but the system knows not to add additional full during these conditions. Actually less fuel is required since the wider throttle opening has less pumping losses. When full power is needed simply turn off the water vapor and you "magically" have your full displacement engine back.

It's nice to know Zongshen is conducting such research, and it's promising to know they are developing a 450cc engine.

Zongshen manufactures motorcycles in Thailand, and also has a factory in Vietnam. Therefore, it's shouldn't be a surprise if the RX3 is sold in Malaysia.

Zongshen manufactures 3 million motorcycles, and 4 million motorcycle engines every year. Therefore, one million Zongshen engines are installed in other motorcycle brands every year. Besides Chinese motorcycles, the ZS177MM (NC250) engine is also installed in Spanish (Gas Gas) and Portuguese (AJP) motorcycles.

I wasn't able to articulate my thoughts as clearly as you, but I thought the same thing. Water injection has been used for several years to thwart detonation, and it serves a similar purpose to exhaust that is introduced into the combustion chamber, via an EGR valve.

I was sort of surprised to hear the video indicate that Hydrogen was being produced. Maybe it was just a poor translation.

Yes very much like EGR. I'm not sure about the hydrogen being produced? Thermal decomposition of water doesn't happen until 3000k or so and most peak combustion temps are less then 2000k. And even if it did its a net zero energy gain anyway.
