Its just flat on the other side and the wires attach to the contact bar that sits on top of it before the bolts go in.

But if the knothead himself went back to stock, I think I'm out on this mod. After all, I'm just a newbie chicken.
Isn't there an adjustable CDI that can be tweeked to do this mod?

Sadly, both my engines had no locating dowels. Just 2 holes drilled in the strip on the Pickup. Just threaded holes in the engine. Hmm.

Am I the only person left running "The Knothead Mod?"
