I sent a few routes, the second drops you out right by the Bixby Bridge which should be an awesome view when it comes into sight if your heading south/north.

Don't forget to share pictures!

X2; you earn extra credit when you post photos of your RX3 in its native habitat. We love photos.

Nice! Just received the title in the mail from CSC ahead of shipment so I can register it and have it ready to ride when it hopefully arrives Thursday. Have folks original delivery dates by the shipping company generally been shortened? Tracking already shows it's only 200 miles away (Went from CA to NC in a couple days). I hope it'll be here sooner than another 6 days. I also don't want another horror story with a doa messed up in transit bike.

slight delay.....

So I get the call from the shipper at 1pm yesterday, the scheduled delivery time. I had rushed back home after caring for my sick dad to be there when the bike arrived. Unfortunately the call was to inform me the bike did not arrive at their facility as planned, and would not be delivered. I had to reschedule the delivery for next Tuesday. They did offer Saturday delivery but unfortunately I had work obligations . So close! Hopefully they treat her gently and she arrives intact Lee, thanks again for the Big Sur routes, I downloaded a gpx reader and they are working great on my phone.

Interesting registration...in Virginia

My bike is still in transit but I got the MSO and Invoice today. DMV wants proof of what I paid. The Invoice is clear, $3895 so that is what I was taxed on.....not the other $1K+ that I paid for extras. Cool! All in all the check to DMV amounted to $225 (sales tax, registration, and license plates good for 2 years). I wish my cars were this inexpensive.

It has arrived!

Great day! Bike is perfect, can't wait to ride. I will spend some time with thread locking compound, oil change, prep, etc. then a ride tomorrow I had to laugh when I saw the Pacifico delivery truck. An omen of many happy travels to come I'm sure, maybe Baja?

Congratulations on taking delivery of your new bike! And thanks for sharing the "unboxing" photos! The bike looks great!

Looking forward to your ride review and, given the circumstances, maybe a celebration with a Pacifico to hold you over until the next Baja ride?

Those bikes are fairly quick on the mountains, can't wait to read some of your impressions on it down towards sea level

Gorgeous bike, the same color ordered. Now I really can't wait for it to get here. I thought CSC changed the oil before they shiped them?

I think CSC changes the oil. But I still changed mine at 100 miles as I didn't want the metallic particles and assembly lube floating around longer than needed. It's easy to change, so why not? Plus it makes the bike "yours" when you can get your hands dirty working on it!

How far in advance did the shipping company set up a delivery window with you? Mine's the 14th and I've yet to hear from them...
