Somewhat off-topic, but Porterz and motohillybilly have been banned. I'm tired of the craziness and complaints from forum readers.

I support this, and apologize to everyone for getting caught up in it too. I've said some pretty immature things here lately, and I am not proud of my actions. I welcome a happy, easy-going, helpful forum like we had a month ago. Sorry for my part in this Frosty :? .

We can fix that...put up your dukes! :P

In all seriousness, I'm sorry it came to that. I was hoping for cooler heads to prevail, but I understand the decision and I'm sure it wasn't made lightly.

I think it had to go to the board of directors...

FrostBite waited a bit longer than I would have but then its his board he can do as he pleases but for months now I have wondered why he had no other MODS.(I seen it coming months ago)

With a couple of other people watching the board it shouldnt get to far out of hand again.

So does this mean we won't be seeing video of a 200cc Chinese bike blowing off a Honda 400cc?

I as well as a few others will try the CDI box and if it can be caught on camera I'll post a vid.

But I wont racing a 400cc honda I plan to set up a rifle and when the trigger is pulled you will (hopefully) see me passing the camera just before th bullet blows the camera's lens out.

I'll even wear one of my bright yellow safety shirts with the reflective strips so you have a chance of seeing me.

Ah yes....faster than a speeding bullet!
Eat your heart out, Superman!

If I had done (or ever do) the other mods such as filter/jet/exhaust I might give it a go myself.....but in all honesty, I think I have a larger bike in my near future. I'm thinking "cruiser" for now...but I do have an older XR650 on my watch list at eBay, so who knows.

I would greatly appreciate it if one or two others would just try the "magic box" CDI and post their results. I don't even need a video. I'd just like the testimony of some other reputable people. I would love for my bike to be able to go 80. That way in a hard breeze I could maintain 65mph! I have tried a timing adjustment with minimal success (see "timing advancement who dunnit" thread

From what I have read elsewhere the CDI boxes are NO joke and can increase performance but how much can be done to these china bikes is still unkown as far as I know.

I'm not looking to push my bike until it blows and it already is far better than it was in stock form but changing/increasing the timing curve would go well with what I have done so far.

I really want anothers input on the magic box too.

It was really time for a couple of more mods here and too bad some people had to be banned.

It may be time to let this one thread rest to to the bottom.

Yup.

Mods = cool
Higher performance = cool
Wild unsubstantiated claims = uncool

My hat (helmet) is off to anyone who can better their bike, and prove it.

But Frostbite made the right move here!

The prooff is in the pudding I was dying to see the video to prove it.
