Not sure if I was just in the bad air path behind a semi.... I definitely felt like wind kept catching at my helmet. There is a stretch of non-freeway road that I ride that sees mostly passenger vehicle traffic at about 60mph. I did not notice as much wind/air pressure on that road as on the freeway...though I definitely tend to feel wind catching my helmet on that road too. I wear a standard full face helmet.

Sprite, that does sound like turbulence from the semi. The tall windshield probably won't help much with that. But for my height at 5'10" the steady airflow at 70+ mph now goes over my head. It's much quieter now.

I might have to consider the taller windscreen just for that - high speed riding defintely seems noisy and I definitely feel it catching my helmet

That looks like a well made and designed unit. Better than most OEM.

I'm always surprised when it comes to windshields how diverse the opinions are
With regard to buffeting, protection ect. I personally think the stock screen works surprisingly well for the speeds this bike sees. I am 6'2" and also like the integrity and stiffness of the 6 screw mount. |

I agree. I like Yoo's windshield, and I might get one in the future. It is certainly easy to repeatedly swap windshields on the RX3 for different riding conditions. Nevertheless, I am very pleased with the performance and robust mounting of the stock windshield, and I haven't noticed any shortcomings with it.

Yoo, will the stock CSC bar height work with your windshield or do I need to run the risers?

You will also need the risers to clear the larger windscreen
