Maybe siik on a back country vacation, riding his hellcat gleefully into the sunset or something.

Go for it. I was hoping to have a challenge last weekend. lol Gives me a good excuse to get out and ride.

Mission excepted. There's always a car show going on somewhere. It's just a matter of how far I will have to travel. lol Weather here will be crap for the week but clear skies for the weekend.

I braved the 48 degree temperatures for this. But was a nice ride. Next challenge, picture of bike next to a lake, stream, bayou or for you guys out in the desert, cactus or mountain will do.

Most families go to a museum or the zoo on a nice Saturday. We wound up at a motorcycle junkyard...

The missus was a great sport as I tried to find parts for the CL450 Scrambler build. I had the Bambino on my shoulders for a little bit of the time, too. I think he really got into the spirit of motorcycle picking! There are some mountains in the background, but since the Scrambler is in pieces in the workshop, I don't think these pictures are contenders for the picture game.

Thanks Jerry. He's all about mechanical things and things that move. As for the forks, there is some good news there: The forks on CB's and CL's are the same (as long as they're both the 450cc flavor). That means if I find a set of 35mm forks, I can break them down and get the damper rods out of them and put the forks that came with the bike back together. I'm going to pick up the frame/engine/rear wheel from the junkyard next weekend, so I'll try to get the rest of the stuff I need all in one shot. If I spend $300 on the frame, $200 on anything else I get, and the $100 initial purchase price, I think that I'm still WAY ahead of the game for what this build has set me back so far. Fingers crossed I can find a set of 35mm forks this weekend.
