I am 5'9", and weigh in at 130 lbs. i am not a big guy by any means, but that just makes me look better on it. it is a 3/4 chopper. not full sized, but just as long as a full size chopper, no great big motor, only 200 cc, but make sure you get the 5 speed, and the seat is just 20 or 22 inches off the ground. but it is a blast to ride. i have been riding mine every day since i got it. and registration isn't that hard, called yesterday, and the only thing i have to get before i register mine is a pair of rear view mirrors.

Damn forklift all poetic.....BUT THE TRUEST STATEMENT I EVER HEARD ON THE DRAGON CHOPPER!!!!
She is fun, cheap, and everyone likes to look at her. But she is mine....get your own LMAO. Yes there should be more parts directly sold for this market (like the tires ). But moding is as fun as the riding. You truely make the Dragon yours by doing so. And you don't have to get too crazy. Just a little here and there, a little engin work, a little dress-up, and a little fix-up, and she is YOUR machine.

I just wish we can get more owner's here, that have it street legal and rollin'.

Did it ever pan out???
edit:I just read the post and with the thumper 200cc it didn't do
much so it was abandoned or shelved till the 400cc comes out.
However...I spotted a 12v electric turbo it looks like a simple bolt on
I try to do more research.

I am planning on buying one of these choppers soon, the 5 speed model. I plan on changing to the lights to leds and going with the digital gauge as well.

Have you looked at anything as far as peformance goes? I have seen performance CDI's for sale. What about the mods described here: http://www.lifan-moto-forum.com/YaBB...m=1216255583/0
Is that the same 200cc motor? How many teeth are on your stock rear sprocket, a similar mod might work.

Edit: after looking around I realize that the 4 speed and 5 speed choppers have different motors, the 4 putting out 13 hp and the 5 putting out 16.1. Are either one of these motors identical to the one found on the LF200?

I know mine is the 4 sp. and it has the pushrod.Others have the over
head cam. With,I believe, any of these china bikes it could be either or
as well it may be a lifan clone :( .My rear sprocket is a 36t and at one
time my drive and jackshaft were 15t.(now 17t all 3)From what I under
stand the pushrod ver. has good low end tork and the overhead cam
has got more top end.My Tach. read 9000 at top end so I guess I could
get a "racing" CDI.But some said their would be little dif.I will prob
get one next summer.Im still toying with the idea of putting a totally
diff.engine.Something Honda and about 400cc  I already got upgrade plans for the jackshaft.

Any body got a manual. I did not get one and if you could post it in the
Manual sec. that would be sweet!

The difference between the 163FML and the 163FML-2 is counterbalancing. The 163FML doesn't have the counterbalanced crank. You can tell by it having a bump out on the front of the crankcase that has some fins on it. This is the 163FML-2

They are both pushrod engines, the 163FML-2 is just the version that came in 2008 model American Lifans after enough complaints about vibration. The engines are identical other than the counterbalancing on the crank. So, as far as manual, If you have a 163FMl, you could go with the manual for a AL LF200GY-2. If you have the163FML-2 You could use the manual for a AL LF200GY-5 or GY-6

Since the stock rear sprocket is a 36t, dropping a few teeth will give you a more comfortable top end cruise and some speed. scooterparts4less sells a racing cdi, a few carbs, etc. that may also work. I am interested to see which parts do/don't fit on this chopper.

You will want to do a search in the dual sport on the racing CDIs before you buy. They are not for everyone.

Most of the standard performance tricks will work with these also.
