I had a similar experience shipping a big-ticket item, and that tracking anxiety is real! It's a game-changer when a company communicates well and provides tools to keep an eye on your shipment. I used AfterShip too for a delivery once, and it did give some peace of mind seeing my package move in real time.

For something more specialized like a dirt bike, though, I found a solid service at https://www.a1autotransport.com/dirt-bike-shipping/. They were dialed in on the specifics of shipping powersports equipment, which took a load off my mind. Could be handy for anyone in the forum looking for similar services.

Head Scratching PowerSportsMax Shipping delay

Hi everyone. Looking for some insight and understanding as to what's going on with my order. On 12/1/2024I purchased 4 dirt bikes from PowerSportsMax.
- 250 Templar X
- 250 Knight DLX
- 2 - 250 Storms

That was on December 1st 2024 It's now the 12th and the order is showing that it's "sent to warehouse," been that way for almost a week. There was some graciousness on their side of arranging a wire to save abt $200, that took about 2 days,so subtract that from the 11 days.

My email communication with PowersportsMax is they just say it's sent to warehouse in Texas in queue for shipping, and I should "wait a while" because of the holidays. I spent $6k and feels like I've just been put aside and not a priority.

Has anyone else experienced the sent to warehouse in Texas or just the sent to warehouse status on their order? And how long that delay is? Or what I can expect time-wise from this. My experience has been great with power sports Max but it's teetering right now on going downhill pretty quickly if I'm not able to get an estimate or my actual bikes very soon.

Thanks in advance.

I ordered two bikes from PSM back in April and all went well; took about 7 days to middle Tennessee. I'd say the delay is due to the time of year.

Right now it's the worst time to have something shipped considering Christmas is right around the corner. The last mile delivery for my most recent bike purchase took three weeks(not PSM). My previous Paladin 300 PSM order took 3 days to ship and then another 3 for the last mile carrier. Your delay is probably due to freight carriers and not PSM considering every order I have made with them shipped the same day it was sent to warehouse.

I've been noticing a LOT of freight shipping issues at work in the last three to four weeks. Stuff that used to be next day or so is taking a week. Stuff that took a week is off into a month or more. I doubt it's PSM's fault.

Thanks for the insight everyone. Great insight as to what you guys have experienced and especially your experience with the shipping world in general.

I had sent a more specific email asking PSM for some kind of info,. ETA something... And last night they sent the same vague reply sent to TX warehouse, please wait. It would be nice to get some info even if it's not the news I'd like to hear. I was planning on having these 4 bikes for an important event before CHRISTmas. I'm guessing their vagueness isn't a great sign of confidence.

Clarification. UPS, Fedex, etc package deliveries seem to be keeping up OK, just actual "truck" shipping I'm seeing issues with.
I'm not real optimistic about you getting them when you want by the sound of it. If they could at least them ON a truck....

I have had the same issues -ordered Dec. 4th for what was supposed to be 2-3 day shipping from California but that quickly turned in to 2 weeks from Texas -seems to me that they could have told me that when I bought it and when I sent them an email after waiting a week they sent me a message just saying " shipping take long at christmas time-so it's somewhere between Texas and Utah( for the last 3 days).ETA delivery on Monday the 16th at noon -we shall see

I live near a major city in Florida, UPS And FedEx are absolutely swamped here. My expensive overnight package was lost the first time by UPS, the second one shipped overnight and arrived late. FedEx two day package that needed a signature was late by four days, got hung up in another big city. My neighbor works at a FedEx hub, he's often gone 10 hours a day and works 6-7 days a week right now. My shipping delays all happened within the last week and a half.

I ordered on 11/29, good old Black Friday. Got an email over the weekend "sent to warehouse". Shipped that Wednesday 12/4. Delivered Monday 12/9. R&L Carriers, who sent a tracking email. If you're getting 4 units may take a bit longer to find a carrier. After dealing with Red Fox and FamilyGoCarts (the bazturds), Powersports seems OK. I don't think any of them care too much about communications, especially after they get you credit card number.

I'm in Utah as well. So you ordered on 11/29 and received on 12/9, that's about the time frame I was anticipating. I ordered on 12/1 just 2 days after you,yet mines still showing as "sent to warehouse". So either it's those additional 2 days they got swamped with orders or it's because I'm having four units shipped which you would hope spending more money with a company would be to your advantage not your disadvantage. Because I paid the same amount of shipping for each one so they should just ship them out individually if that's what they need to do. Thanks again for everybody's insight I'll keep you posted please do the same for me.

I got a text from R+L Carriers today at 8:05 am, saying, Please call our office, and gave tracking number. I called and they scheduled delivery for Thursday 12/19/2024 10am - 5pm windpow, shows picked up in
in CARROLLTON, TX on 12/16/2024 @ 09:15:49 AM. The tracking number info on RL website shows 4 pieces. Interesting that powersportsmax website still shows "Shipped to Wharehouse" status. So things moving in a positive direction.
