Bashan blaze Lifan engine
Got this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Fit great, installed yesterday and seems more tighter positive connection with engine than OEM shifter. I like it a lot and fits my size 12.

OEM shifter on board in case of accident etc but unlikely

Thats the one I've got and it fit's great. By the way there is going to be another Black Bashan Blaze around here as I just ordered a whole new set of plastics and all they had was black. After almost a year of waiting on inferiorpowersports to replace my broken plastics I've decided to just buy em myself. I got everything from a new headlight to the rear fender thing and everything in between.

For some reason the link is not working for me? Maybe a dumb question but whats the advantage to changing the shifter?

Firstly, I wanted a back up shifter because "offs's" happen. When the shifter snaps off your pretty mutch screwed without a back up. That takes care of the reserve

Second , much stronger and feels better to me and has the spring articulating tip which will likely give, before it breaks.

3rd, $15 bucks

Then again, mabey I need to stay away from those ditches etc.

Google this if you still can't find: MSR Folding Shift Lever Steel Honda XR CR80 CRF 150 230. This is amazon.com

link is working with chrome, try with another browser

The link didn't work for me either but from the link you can see the part number. So I just googled MSR 070755 shifter

Oh and I now have a brand new MSR shifter for a Hawk for sale

Great minds do think alike

I will let you know how it works out. I figured since I wanted to change the grips why not just upgrade the throttle while I'm at it. Then I'll have a spare

Well I've done several break in heat cycles and drove around my community keeping it under 3k rpms. I've now got 5miles on it and man am I loving it.

It it very hard to not open it up and see what she's got but I Am being good and I'll take it easy for the first 500miles

This weekend I'll be doing the rims and putting the spoke covers on
I've actually be thinking of painting the swing arm to match the bike
