Holy smokes! 8O That looks like some kind of ghostly HD boneyard! Can you imagine what those bikes would be worth? It would be cool to get one and get it running and rideable again, but leave the weathered patina... Sweet!

Thanks for posting another remarkable photograph, OG. Do those motorcycles run? Even if they don't, that's an enormous quantity of good, expensive motorcycle parts! 8O

There's more than enough stuff there to make a few run! Have you considered buying one, OG?

My dad's/My project
Here is a picture of the two projects my dad and I have going. The bike on the left is a 1971 Kawasaki Mach III which is being completely restored by us, and is just waiting for a few od's and ends (mostly the tank) to be finished. on the right is my (new to me) Roketa DB-07A, we have been working on both bikes together. Cannot wait to have them both running smoothly and ride together, especially the Kawasaki last time it was running I was 2 now I'm 24. I used to sit on the tank with my dad and ride around the block, ever since then just been obsessed with motorcycles.

Haha it sure earned it's nick name the widow maker. I have heard and read a lot of stories about this bike. Makes it more alluring and bad ass in my opinion. I know I'm not going to be able to ride it very much. I just love the sound it makes and have enjoyed working on it and seeing my dad act like a kid again when we make noticeable progress.

To be fair for the most part a bike's safety is up to the rider not the bike, but the Kawasaki 2 stroke triples are known for having (much) more motor than brakes, steering, or suspension.
I rode a 500 about 25 years ago and it was sick, but in a good way. 8) Best thing about a 2-smoke in the Bay Area will be the hateful looks you'll draw from the Prius people. :P

Haha exactly, oh those entitled prius's. Oh exactly my dad says the frame would wobble a lot when he would get going on it. And 2 drum brakes your not stopping any time soon. It's good for going straight and fast. It won't be ridden like that though too many hrs and hard work and fun to be stupid and let the bike get away from me or him. Im definitely going to be over cautious on it, but still enjoy it

Great looking shop! Is the bum-stop seat on the triple an original? I had a 350 triple when I was a kid, but I don't remember a cool seat like that.

Thanks, my dad has alot of cool old and very old license plates, car show posters, stop and street signs (thanks to my teens) the 280 sign is my favorite/great story. If you guys like I can continue posting pictures as we make progress on it. The tank comes back in a couple weeks which will be really exciting. The seat is original it was sent to a guy an he added a tiny bit of foam to add to the spring but the leather was from a forum for triples. We are going for 100% stock original. Most of the parts on the bike have just been cleaned with in an inch of their life, zinked, polished, powder coated, etc. like I said earlier just been a great experience, I cannot wait to ride the bike (again) that sparked my love for motorcycles.
