There's a TW at the local Yamaha dealer (I think it's from last year), and it has been marked down to a little over four grand. It's hard to pay $2000 for a '95 in that case.

That's exactly my point, Weld.

Every time I see that bike at GA Checkpoint (formerly Clearbrook) Yamaha, I drool a little.

That TW is too nice for me. I prefer a pre abused bike that is cheap.

Hoping to find me a cheap dual sport with title for Kansas.

Thanks for posting the link, Doc. The parts on that bike are worth more than $100! 8O

The seller wants way too much for that bike anyway, Allen. I'm sure a good deal will turn up after you get to Kansas.

I plan to ride my bicycle around town scanning yards. I may find an unloved machine next to a garage someplace. Maybe find a few to fix to sell and then build up to a nicer one for next summer.

The bicycle will allow me to see alot while only burning calories. Also help familiarize myself to the town. Its flat so it should be easy riding.

Would like a tw, xt, xl, dr, in the 200-350cc size. Or a nonrunner that is ready for a china swap.

Good plan.

Bear in mind it's not hills that can kick your bicycling butt in KS but the wind.

Just ask Dorothy...

I like your plan though.

Plus you'll meet people in a very meek unassuming friendly way.

Sounds like American Pickers Lite. :P

Now that's out of left field.

Looks like a Rokon.

Very interesting.

That's a bit of change for a 50cc.
