A pic of some of what I'm doing down in here Florida, in August. :( (the 3 hour plane ride I mentioned in another post) I commissioned the machine this master cylinder came off of thirteen years ago. In the intervening years, little in the way of maintenance has been done. This MC has the piston rusted in place, and worse, it is in the compressed position.:x The brass jobber is something I cobbled out of various bits and bobs to inject grease into the cylinder to free the piston. It took two tubes of grease through the grease gun and two sets of arms but the piston popped loose with a loud Kkerackk. After all that, the MC turned out not to be rebuildable. Going to take a month to six weeks to get a replacement from Italy and I still don't know what the wheel cylinders look like. The customer wants it usable Friday. I don't freakin' think so.

Geismar 360 Hi-Rail Crane. Made in Italy. Apparently, I'm supposed to be the US expert on these rolling headaches. This is a pic of a new one I put in service in San Antonio last May.

XS650 is my guess as well, Doc. I had a '79 when I was a kid, and the motor looked just like that.

Thought I'd resurrect this thread.
Mrs. Cheesy and I went camping in N. WI over the weekend and had a nice time, except for the English Banger Sausages. They were awful. Smelled good but tasted terrible. Weather was great. But the trip was hard on the old guys. Did some easy off roading on USFS roads with the Jeep. Strolled through the leaves. And finally had to pack up and head home. Did spot a Meyers Manx in Sauk City, WI on the way home.
