A few pictures from my recent trip to Penticton. I spotted this in the back of a pickup by the beach...

Amazingly beautiful bike!

The BritBikes make up in looks, feel, and character what they lack in engineering and build quality. That Triumph is a triumph in asthetics.

Interesting that since BSA owned Triumph I see a number of bits on that bike that are the same as mine. Like the taillight, horn, carb, airfilter, control bits and some other parts.

Few pics of my parents Dodge and trailer after their adventure this past Tuesday in Alexandria, MN. They came out mostly unscathed.

I think I may have aged myself past them.

The folks are doing pretty good for a "couple of old farts pushing 80".(What my Dad told me last night)

Mom was driving but has no recollection of what happened. Dad had been snoozing and said he woke up in time to see the ground coming towards him.

The accident reports says 'Wind Gust' and that's what we'll stick with but Dad and I are thinking something in the suspension of the trailer failed. They were heading west bound on I94 just west of Alexandria, MN when it happened. When the dust cleared, the pickup was on it's roof with the grill pointing east and the trailer was on it's side with the tongue pointing northeast. Spun pretty much a 180.

Newspaper article and pic here. There was no Flight for Life.

Could have been a lot worse

Thank God they are OK. That Dodge gave it's life for them.

Amen on all counts, Brother Bill! I am glad their guardian angels were watching over Cheesy's parents. Also, I now believe the slogan, "Dodge trucks are ram tough!"

That exit is where my in-laws live. The largest hospital in the area is only a few minutes away.

Amen that they are okay.
