Some ground to air shots of the Maule and I from yesterday. I was giving some charity/volunteer/goodwill flights and one of the bystanders snapped some good pics and shared them with me.

Actually it turned out to be bad gas and a fouled plug. I thought at first that something serious happened.

I thought I had a major breakdown too. Then it restarted and ran fine for a minute and shutdown again. Cooled off and ran about 5 minutes more. Good sign of a failed sparkplug.

The smoke was just unusual.

Glad to see it made it safely. To go with my smoking mower pics. New head gasket today and a carb rebuild.
