This belongs to a young man whom I run into at work occasionally, and he's quite pleased with his car. It's not my thing, but I appreciate the engineering; the doors use the stock strikers and hardware, but the hinge is replaced with a bolt-on unit. The doors open conventionally for a few inches, and then they swing up.
Please excuse the poor phone pic.

He is also using his Stihl chainsaw as a jackstand.
Weld, I don't know why one would want lambo doors. |

I've seen this Volvo truck in my neighborhood several times, the owner uses it to haul construction materials, it is absolutely beautiful. I'm trying to sort out a new camera, went over tonight and got these shots.

Nice old truck. 8) Those drop sides are a great idea.

I ran across these street mechanics in Lima yesterday. I'm awe of these guys and their ingenuity.

That's an excellent idea for a mobile work bench.

Incidentally, I am half Italian; therefore, I have a lot of Latin blood in my veins. However, I don't think I ever had as much hair as the Peruvians in that photograph! Perhaps the Romans had less hair than the Spaniards? :?: Spud
