My contribution...

Identification? I am guessing it is a "firebrat" but I am open to other opinions...

Yes it does look somewhat like a silverfish, which is what led me to the firebrat,... I have seen more then one, these are the most common insect I see in my apartment, but it is still very rare.

Moquegua Peru, this is fairly typical Peruvian moto shop, I was really surprised to see the T-21 and Allstate. Allstate's (Jawa) were actually sold in Peru, the Triumph must have been imported or possibly sold by a traveler.

If there is no oil UNDER a Brit bike there is likely no oil IN a Brit bike. Believe me it RAVAGES my sense of OCD to have a bike that leaks oil!!!

I carried a catch tray in the trunk of my mercedes. Parked during the day. Pour it back in for the drive home.

Thanks for the pics. What a great shop!

I appreciate the lines on that Allstate; a lot of effort went into that design.

I agree; it's a beautiful bike.

However, I don't understand why any mechanic would install the front wheel on a motorcycle without the tire mounted! 8O
