That was intended as a dig at some of our fine members who made political / religious comments. Interestingly, you and I posted in the same moment.

Really folks, post whatever pics you like (keeping it family friendly).

Got a close-up of that Jim? If not, I'll try to remember to take one on my next trip through.

Well the picture is resized as it is uploaded to photobucket, but this one may be better.

And here's a picture my mom took of the Mascot Mine at Hedley, doesn't show you how much it really is hanging off the side of the mountain though.

Shoshone Falls is located in the Snake River Canyon, near Twin Falls, Idaho. I took the following photograph in July 2009, when the Snake River was running very high.

Shoshone Falls is called by some the “Niagara of the West.”

That really does look like the Horseshoe Falls section of Niagara, which is the Canadian side.

I drove through Twin Falls last summer, and it never occurred to me to seek out the falls. Bummer.

This was taken in Tofino, BC in the Spring of 2009. That beach dog just patiently waited for his master to come back in from the surf.

Here's a closer view of Shoshone Falls.

Here's a view of the Snake River, just downstream from the falls.

I was there 2 summers ago. Awesome area. Did you hike up to Evil Kineval's launch site, Spud?

It was fun, but not enough to make up for the inconviences it poses.

The powerslides and drifting are cool though.
