Anyone know what compatible footpegs, shift lever arm, and rear shocks are available for the Lifan X-Pect? I’d like to put on a longer shift lever, wider footpegs, and a shorter rear shock to lower the beast. The IMS replacement shift levers sold on Amazon are 1” longer, but I don’t know which one would fit.
Thanks! |

I can’t wait to take it on a moto camping trip! I mainly cruise backroads and ride to work half the time so not really any hiway speeds yet as I’m trying to keep it under 5k for break in. Has yours been pretty trouble free/reliable? I imagine so with the amount of miles you have logged Last edited by NoirLord; 07-05-2020 at 03:59 PM. Reason: Misspelled words |

Never been stuck on the road, I do have roadside assistance from Progressive Insurance for $12 annually they will haul the bike to a repair shop if I can't figure it out. One thing that initially was holding me back was long high speed run and stop for gas or something. It will start but most likely stall and then vapor lock. It will take a few tries to get it running but not so cool to stall on the road. It gets very hot when you run wide open thats why added an oil cooler. I think at 600-1000 miles its broken in, my theory wide open 4th gear for a minute if she's going to blow or not. Rather have it blow when I'm prepared than when I'm not.

Where did you get that carrier for the back? I think I like that better than the saddlebags I have.

Mytop case is from Revzilla Givi 29L Monokey. It unlocks to take it off the mount plate. |

Does anybody know of an EFI kit/controller for these bikes? I've put on a new air filter and exhaust, so I'm thinking fuel delivery would be the next step?
Also, I wonder if it would be possible to mate the 6 speed from a KPR200 to the Expect? |

What air filter did you go with? I can't find one.
Thanks Last edited by Jsalmi; 07-06-2020 at 05:17 AM. Reason: spell |

I actually just pulled a little conical filter off of a 50cc I have and fitted it to the throttle body. I ordered one of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
and it should come today so I can see how it fits. The issue is that it runs into the little side fairing, might have to cut that and or find some kind of elbow peice to point the filter out and away from the engine. |

The K&N I purchased from Amazon did not fit, the opening is too big but luckily I had some tubing around that I was able to fit it on. I also did need to cut a hole in the plastic to make it fit, wish I did a better job with that
![]() It definitely sounds better, and it could be in my head, but I think it has a little better throttle response and bottom-end punch. ![]() Last edited by stlouisweb; 07-09-2020 at 09:46 AM. Reason: fix image |

Good decision on the Givi the tailbox comes really handy keeping the helmet and gloves dry and secure. I go shopping at nearby and it can hold 2 bags of groceries if you do a little planning when you're shopping. I also think the silver accents/reflector matches the silver side covers very nicely.

Got my oil cooler in, but after looking at the install location and proximity to the header pipe, I decided not to install it. It really needs a shield (or better shield) since it sits right behind the front tire and I can just see a good size rock being kicked up and puncturing this thing. Also due to limited mounting options and it sitting right by the header, I'm guessing since I'm no scientist, that the heat from the header would radiate onto that cooler line that is sitting about 1/2" or less from the pipe, kinda negating the cooling effect of the cooler???
