Wow, old thread! I can’t recall if I really considered the shock travel when I trimmed the bumper. Anyway its been that way since 2016 with 10,000+ miles and for sure some time on rough trail since then. I’m sure she would be a clunky mess by now if I was doing damage?

Tire would rub with stock shock but with the upgrade it has not so far, I’m running K60s 130/80-17 tires.

I seem to recall that it does raise the rear by an inch when installed, if memory serves me, so yes, it's probably longer than stock.
