I like to ride the Mrs. Bashan "WILL" 200 at those speeds to get myself to the mountain trails a wee bit faster I have held 75 to 80+ mph for several hours (2 to 4) at a time and the bike is still running strong after 4k miles
197cc Lifan engine is powering that little bike... 17t and 39t sprockets to help get that highway speed... little issues "off road/mountain trailing" with that gearing choice and my massive 108lbs on the bike (lost some more weight recently )

Hey Barnone. How fast can you go towing that bicycle trailer? And if trailer is modified please elaborate. Thanks. |

Never over 65 MPH towing the trailer behind my long gone W650. Only mod is changing out the tires and wheels from the bicycle ones after they wore out. Now I am running pit bike wheels on both the trailers. Have one of the trailers in Fort Myers Fl for the winter. The other is in WNC close to Robbinsville, NC. Use the one in the mountains a lot. Not so much in FL.

I have, it has a digital Trail Tech Vapor with an extremely accurate speedo after I measured the wheel and did the initial maths, took a ride, it was a little off and I played around with the numbers for a few rides until it was dead on accurate with a 5 mile trip from pops garage to a local gas station.
Now with 83 mph showing on both a follow vehicle and 2 GPS devices (one phone, one garmin) and the bike was showing 82.6 (and slowly climbing) mph on the speedo No way I would still be around going slow on I-25... round these parts speed limit is 65 to 75 mph from my house to the mountains... traffic rarely goes slower than 80 though...

Azhule has the World's Faster Bashan WILL! Of course, it helps that he tips the scales at about 85 pounds, soaking wet... ;-)

Nice saddlebags, is the exhaust heat going to be friendly with them being that close?

Loving how this is turning out so far. Will definitely keep my on this as my other motorcycle deal fell thru.
Keep us updated if any mechanical problems arise! Hoping none do for you though. I only hope one day they will start selling a china bike that is highway capable. |
