Dan, regarding your Hawk, You've incremented your way up the mod ladder so I can see where you may not see a huge difference with each mod. It would be very interesting for you to ride a stock Hawk now.

I honestly want to ride a nearly stock Hawk just to feel the side by side difference. A Hawk with a 17/45 sprocket setup and proper jetting would be a perfect side by side lol.

So I gave the 155 main jet a new spin, and it is a too rich Threw in the 152, but I haven't tested it yet. There is a chance my new air filter may have changed the curve just a hair and created more draw on the jets too. I didn't take my own advice of 1 change at a time. We will see how the 152 does on my way to work.

So the 152 is also a tad rich. Could still hold 70, but you could hear it in the exhaust note and it was sluggish past 7/8 throttle. So 150 it is with this new filter.

I have always thought a good drag would be Dan and Jerry modified HAWKS head to head. Especially now that Dan has a cam to even it up nicely that would be a run to see! Take some bets?

If Dan wants to come to MI I have a jetted stock hawk Ready to race him lol. The governor partially lifted the ban so we can have friends again, party time.

Honestly, jerry has quite a weight and size advantage on me. I don't think my cam is enough to make up the difference lol.

It would actually be interesting to make a trip like that on a Hawk. At least I know the highway stuff is doable in terms of.speed.

If I raced the X22R it would probably be like a Harley vs. a sport bike. I would take you off the line and then get passed soon after lol

Then after the HAWKS you can do the X22R against the HAWK! Cameras on both catching the view and the sound! LOL All we need is to find a 1/4 mile track somewhere close to one of you!

These bikes are so slow we could drag race on a public street and not really break the law lol
