Lockdown Boredom Project
Did orange spokes (covers) on Q. I know....they don't match exactly but what aftermarket part does? Not sure if I like them or not. I can't decide if they look cool and make Q "pop"....or did Q just get out of the groomers with bows in his ears? Either way, they were super cheap (under 8.00 delivered) so if they don't grown on me, no biggy.

Well not technically during lockdown as we haven`t been in true stay-at-home lockdown but nevertheless this was my garage back workshop last thursday. This is how it looks now... ...these are the two fire curtains I installed to prevent, well, fire and the spread of grinder spray (sorry for the big pics I forgot this forum doesn`t resize) In the narrow gap under the sheet metal brake will be the new home of a TIG machine that should arrive sometime next week. There`s also now an 8mm aluminum slab bolted to the table that will be grounded to the TIG rig so no more faffing around with the ground clamp. Been meaning to build this offcut shelf literally for years but for a bazillion very good reason haven`t gotten round to it even though I`ve bought the shelf bits for like three years ago...

Hardest part is keeping it that way.

That`s not the half of it. Got a bike lifter at the garage side and you can`t even see the deck let alone the floor around it... But it`s getting there, had to quit banging around for today as my wife has a morning shift tomorrow and the bedrooms are directly above the garage.
That said it does makes you all tingly seeing all the tools where they should be etc, my biggest problem is more like once you get everything nice and tidy you don`t wanna get it dirty again remembering what a heap of work it was to clean

deck gate.jpg
Built a gate for my deck, so my grandson won't bolt down the steps. Tried to match the existing deck rails. -We are no longer locked down in my part of Texas, but businesses are still limited to 25% capacity.

I have had spin tires since it came out early access. That in its self was a mess with all the developer drama lol. Fun game though.

It is definetly worth it. Especially if you can afford the premium version that gives ya the season pass to get the rest of the DLCs as they drop. Tomorrow they are dropping a patch that adds a new map, multiple save slots and a couple vehicle skins. Quote:
I have yet to try Spintires. I played Mudrunner on the switch for a bit then got it for the PC at the same time as i got SR. I have yet to actually fire up Mudrunner on either the PC or Switch again. I got a little too frustrated with MR the first couple nights i had it on the Switch. Though my end result with it on the Switch will more then likely be different now that i have an actual controller for the console and not using the Joycons in their included wireless controller.

New Deck
Building an 18x24 deck inside the small fenced yard.
Cheesy, this is the ONLY real way to beat gophers. Eliminate dirt to walk on.

I polish the hell out of him. Truth be told, Q was a surprise gift to me from Mrs. 2LZ on my birthday when we were just climbing out of our lowest point that life's Poker Table had dealt us. I just about had a seizure when she pulled up after work with Q in the back of our truck. My buddy was with me and knew all about it in advance. Special times....
