Drove old Vette 120 miles on Saturday. Did well. A few leaks; I’m thinking transmission. Haven’t crawled under yet to verify. Runs down road fine tho. The Turbo 350 transmission has it at about 3000 rpm’s at 70mph. Really needs an overdrive transmission if I was to use it a lot at highway speeds. Anyway, the trip was to buy some parts for it. Got A and B pillar plastic and the hatches for the battery and storage area from a parts car.

My buddy's 76 C10 has the T350 and a truck rear end gearing. It screams going down the road. We pondered swapping in a 700R4 but there's still a little electrical that would need to happen, from what I've found.
