They are so fast! My latest shipment was sent by mail (instead of DHL), and it was about a week. I've never had anything from China arrive in less than two weeks before.

In my experience, TBTrends is very good about answering emails and giving status reports.

Not sure, but I know that it can take a day or two for a response. As well, it takes up to two weeks (IME) for them to receive and organize everything you ordered.
I went over the top with my last shipment, and the shipping was quite high. I simply asked if there was a less expensive alternative, and they shipped it by EMS (China's mail service), and it took about a week. I saved about $20 in the process. Their service has been excellent for me.

I've never used Aliexpress; can you tell us more about the process?

aliexpress
you make an account search for what you want and buy it kind of like eBay with out the biding but you can chat with the "store clerk" if they have there trad manager on i've use it to find lights and then talked to the store own and had special orders placed with the factory the store represents and had great success now i notice its more expensive then taobao but every one on ali speaks english...sorta its better then taobao's english

also any thing you buy the money goes in to an escrow account and the supplier does not get paid till you confirm the goods have arrived and in good shape
