As usual, I agree with you 100 percent, Brother Bill! I'm going to wait for more evidence, but I am very inclined to believe Lance Armstrong is dirty. I don't care much for professional cycling, but I once bought Lance Armstrong's autobiography on sale at a large bookstore. After all the sacrifices she made for him, I am absolutely appalled at the way Lance Armstrong treated his ex-wife.

Here's a pet peeve of mine, having nearly been killed by a teenager n her cell phone  . I understand if the moderators take it down, and if so sorry. I think it's not too far outside of our family friendly tastes.

Lol! I like it and I completely agree! I almost rear ended some dork on the highway that was texting a few weeks ago... I was doing the speed limit and came up on him real fast and had to brake hard. He was only doing 30 kmh in a 100kmh zone. Suicide! It was just at sunrise and it made his speed hard to judge, but I never thought I would see someone (except a tractor!) doing 30 kmh on the highway, when I passed him you could see the light from his phone screen on his face since he was holding it on the top of his steering wheel. I don't think the mods will object, cell phone using motorists are everyone's pet peeve (and nightmare)

Definitely not my G6, probably go about 100 yards before it bounced off a curb... It's got electric power steering (stolen from the Volt engineers) and it steers differently. I much prefer normal power steering.

Nope. I'm smart enough to stay away from that nonsense. 1994 was looming in my mind.

I heard on the bews this AM a few idiots tried to put a black mark on the classy face of Vancouver by acting like simeons and rioting and burning and fighting and acting like general asses in Vancouver.

I know of course this has nothing to do with the vast majority of Vancouver and BC citizens who are very classy people. But it does suck to make the news in such a way. :(

I've always admired the mechanics in Central & South America, if they don't have the correct tool or part they will make it. Yesterday I was in a Lima neighborhood that had about four square blocks of small shops, these guys were rebuilding engines and transmissions inside their shops and installing them outside on public streets. I walked around for a couple of hours, found some tools that I needed and then rode home, great day!

That's really cool; what a sweet old bug. 8)

Off topic, I'll bet that those excellent Satsuma oranges are nearly free in Peru. They sure don't cost much at Costco.

Yes, mandarinas are very inexpensive, today I paid two soles (74 cents) for a kilo.
